Alarm Redirection
ClearSCADA supports Alarm Redirection, whereby specific alarms can be redirected manually and/or automatically. So, for instance, if a control center is unmanned when a high-priority alarm is raised, alarm redirection could be configured to forward that alarm automatically to an on-call engineer’s pager.
Each ClearSCADA system is supplied with a variety of Alarm Redirection Actions that enable you to specify the type of redirection that is required (see Introduction to Alarm Redirection in the ClearSCADA Guide to Alarm Redirection).
Each database item for which alarms can be redirected has a Redirection tab on its configuration Form, allowing you to specify up to 15 alarm redirections for that particular item. Further alarm redirections can be applied on a Group-wide basis.
