Redirect an Alarm

ClearSCADA supports Alarm Redirection, whereby alarms can be redirected automatically or manually whenever those alarms fulfill certain redirection criteria. Alarm redirection can be configured on a per item or per group basis (see Introduction to Alarm Redirection in the ClearSCADA Guide to Alarm Redirection).

Should alarm redirection be used to allow you to manually redirect an alarm, that item or group’s context-sensitive menu will include one or more ‘custom’ redirection options, in addition to the usual alarm options.

Select the required ‘custom’ option to redirect the alarm. Depending on the configuration, you may be prompted to enter a comment providing further information about the redirected alarm.
