After installing the Data Access components, you need to create a connection between the ClearSCADA server and the computer that is running the Third Party application(s). The connection will allow the Third Party application(s) to access the ClearSCADA database using ODBC.
To configure the Third Party ODBC client - system connection, you need to:
- Configure the Connection for the ClearSCADA Client
- Access the ODBC Data Source Administrator Tool:
- If you are using 32-bit Windows, Access the ODBC Data Source Administrator Tool
- If you are using 64-bit Windows, 64-Bit Applications on 64-Bit Windows.
- Configure the ODBC DSN Settings.
