Add an Action to a Schedule
With any type of Schedule, you need to specify the action(s) that ClearSCADA is to perform automatically at the scheduled time(s), and the database item(s) on which ClearSCADA is to perform those action(s). You do this using the Add Action window. The database items and actions that you specify are then displayed in the Object and Action areas at the bottom of the Schedule Editor.
The procedure that you use to assign the action trigger times differs, depending on the type of Schedule:
- With a Schedule other than a Simple Schedule, you add event(s) to the Schedule Display (see Add an Event Directly to a Schedule) to specify when ClearSCADA is to perform the action(s) that you associate with that Schedule.
- With a Simple Schedule, you use the Offset and Interval fields on the Schedule Form to specify when ClearSCADA is to perform the action(s) that you associate with the Schedule (see Define when a Simple Schedule Executes).
There are two means by which you can specify the action(s) that ClearSCADA is to trigger automatically at the time(s) indicated on a Schedule.
