Add an Operator Document Store
To add an Operator Document Store to your system:
- Display the Database Bar (see Display an Explorer Bar).
- In the Database Bar, right-click on the System or Group folder to which you want to add an Operator Document Store.
A context sensitive menu is displayed. - Select the Create New option.
A further menu is displayed. - Select the Security option.
A further menu is displayed. - Select the Operator Document Store option.
An Operator Document Store is added to the root of the system, or to the selected Group (depending on your selection in step 2.) It is selected automatically, ready for you to enter its name. - Enter a suitable name for the item (taking into account the ClearSCADA Naming Restrictions).
- Press the Enter key or select another part of the ViewX interface to confirm the entry.
- Repeat the above steps for any other Operator Document Stores that you want to add to your system.
When you have added an Operator Document Store, you can:
- Configure its properties (see Configure an Operator Document Store).
- Provide operator access to the Operator Document Store (see Associate an Operator Document Store with a User or User Group).
