Diagnostic Mode
Diagnostic mode is intended to interrupt the user's work flow. A document window enters Diagnostic mode, for example, if you attempt to access a database item's display in a document window, but ClearSCADA detects that it is unable to fulfill your request. Instead, ClearSCADA overlays the document window with a diagnostic message display.
The buttons that the display provides vary, depending on the detected problem and its context. For example, with the display shown above, you can opt toredisplay the window by selecting the Try again button. This triggers ClearSCADA to retry your request and display the relevant window if it is able to gain access to the required item. Alternatively, you can select the Close button to close the display.
A diagnostic message display typically provides buttons to retry, continue, or abort the activity to which the message relates.
