Some SCADAPack E outstations are able to communicate with more than one DNP3 master. Such outstations have to be suitably licensed to provide multi-master support.
Within ClearSCADA, with each DNP3 SCADAPack E Outstation, you need to:
- Configure the Unsolicited Message Properties that are Specific to a Particular DNP3 Master
- Specify Whether an Outstation Communicates with Multiple DNP3 Masters (Depending on the system setup and outstation licensing, a SCADAPack E outstation can communicate with to three DNP3 Masters.)
With each DNP3 SCADAPack Point, you need to:
Regardless of the number of DNP3 masters with which a SCADAPack E outstation communicates, ClearSCADA is deemed to be DNP3 Master 1 (the server on the system on which the outstation is located).
