Disable Set
Associated with: Outstation sets
Security permission required to access this pick action: Disable Points
Use this pick action to take an outstation set Out of Service.
The Disable Set pick action clears the outstation set's In Service property, so that the outstation set is no longer active.
You might want to disable an outstation set, for example, if ClearSCADA has detected a communication problem with the outstations in that set. Once the problem has been rectified, use the Enable Set pick action to place the outstation set back In Service.
ClearSCADA logs an entry in the Event Journal whenever either pick action is used. The entry indicates whether the outstation set has been enabled or disabled.
Be aware that disabling an outstation set also de-activates its dependants, although the dependants' configuration will remain unchanged. (Dependants include the set's outstations and the points on those outstations.)
If using this pick action with the Automation Interface, you need to specify the method name Disable.
