Serial Port Statistics

Associated with: Channels on advanced drivers, providing that those channels have a Serial connection

This status attribute is only displayed if ClearSCADA has detected an error on the port. The attribute displays the number of:

If the Reset Serial Port Statistics pick action has been used to reset the statistics, up to two entries are displayed—the lower entry lists the previous Serial Port Statistics, the upper entry is ‘live’ and logs the Serial Port Statistics since the pick action was last used. The upper entry is only displayed if further errors have been detected on the port.

Example:

0 parity errors, 0 framing errors, 0 overruns, 1 breaks since 07/Mar/2008 08:50:06.712

3 parity errors, 0 framing errors, 0 overruns, 2 breaks between 05/Apr/2005 15:31:50.843 and 07/Mar/2008 08:50:06.712
