The Source status attribute indicates the location at which an item’s data source resides on the device that ClearSCADA is scanning for data. The information shown varies, depending on the type of item and the driver with which it is associated. For further information, see the driver-specific documentation.
A Source attribute displays the value Undefined if an item’s configuration is incomplete, in so far as the device with which the item is associated has not yet been specified. For example, the outstation on which a point is located has not been specified.
