You use a FloBoss History Point object to retrieve and hold values from a FloBoss’s standard or extended history. You configure a FloBoss History Point to retrieve the historic data from a specific history point in the FloBoss. You can use the point to retrieve daily, hourly, minute, or extended data, depending on the point’s configuration in ClearSCADA.
If communications to the FloBoss fails, and then recovers some time later, the History Point will attempt to retrieve the data that was generated by the FloBoss during the outage.
The data is entered into the point’s historic record with a timestamp. Timestamps are corrected for the FloBoss Time Zone setting on the FloBoss Scanner object at the time of retrieval.
