Display a List
There are various ways of displaying a List.
For more information, see the topics that are listed in the gray footer section at the bottom of this topic. Select the relevant entry to display the topic that you require.
You can also:
- Display a Client-Wide Alarms List (for information on Alarm Lists, see the ClearSCADA Guide to Alarms)
- Display a General List of Events
- Display a Queries List from the Queries Bar
- Display the Data on a Data Grid, Data Set, or Data Table in List Format
- Display User Query Data on a WebX Client.
For further information on displaying Lists on a WebX client:
- see View and Action Alarms on a WebX Client in the ClearSCADA Guide to ViewX and WebX Clients
- see View and Action Events on a WebX Client in the ClearSCADA Guide to ViewX and WebX Clients
- see View and Action Lists on a WebX Client in the ClearSCADA Guide to ViewX and WebX Clients.
Many Lists display instantaneously. For those Lists for which a large number of records need to be retrieved, ClearSCADA provides a progress report while that data retrieval is ongoing. This report is updated in real time and indicates the number of records that have been retrieved so far. The report is replaced by the List entries as soon as the relevant records have been retrieved. You can continue to perform other activities in ClearSCADA while such data retrieval is ongoing. To cancel a request to display a List containing a large number of records, close the progress report window.
