Displaying a ClearSCADA Map
You can create single-layer maps or multi-layer composite maps in ClearSCADA, from online or offline mapping sources, which you can then use for a variety of purposes. For example, you can display:
- The geographic location of items in the ClearSCADA database
- Geographic information, such as weather data.
Once you have created a map in ClearSCADA (see Creating a ClearSCADA Map), you can display it as follows:
- Display the Database Bar (see Display an Explorer Bar).
- In the Database Bar, either double-click on the Map Source or Map Set database item that represents the map you want to display, or right-click on the item. If you double-click, ClearSCADA will then display the map. If you right-click, ClearSCADA will display the Object menu. Select the Display Map Set or Display Map Source option as appropriate. ClearSCADA will then display the map.
Display the Geographic Location of a Database Item
You can display the geographic location of a database item on a ClearSCADA map (see Displaying the Geographic Location of a Database Item).
Display a Map in a Mimic
You can also display a map in a mimic. For more information, see Creating a Hyperlink to a Map in the ClearSCADA Guide to Mimics.
