Geographic Regions
A geographic region is an area that you can define on a map to enclose or group a set of related items. You can associate a region with a User, Users or User Group, which allows you to, for example, redirect alarms to the user responsible for a region, (see Assign Regions of Responsibility).
There are three types of region items that you can create in ClearSCADA:
Using these three types of region you can create:
- multiple region items using any combination of the three types.
- overlapping regions
- regions that exist within other regions
For information on how to create and configure regions, see the topics that are listed in the gray footer section at the bottom of this topic. Select the relevant entry to display the topic that you require.
