This section comprises examples of ClearSCADA configuration that might be used to allow the ClearSCADA Simple Modbus driver to transmit data to and from Modbus PLCs.
The examples refer to Modbus Register range addressing—for more information on Modbus address ranges, and a sample table of such addressing, see Modbus Register Ranges.
The Modbus address with which a channel, scanner, or point is associated is displayed as part of the Source status attribute. The Source attribute is displayed on the associated List and Status display for each item (see Simple Modbus Specific Status Display Attributes).
Use the examples as an aid when configuring your ClearSCADA system. For more information, see the topics that are listed in the gray footer section at the bottom of this topic. Select the relevant entry to display the topic that you require.
