You can use a ROC Plus Digital Point object to read and write (control) any value from a ROC that is specified by a Type, Location, and Parameter (TLP) that holds a numeric value. For a list of the numeric formats that are supported, see the table in the topic about the ROC Plus Numeric Point.
The numeric value that is read from the ROC is converted to a digital value in ClearSCADA, allowing for easy presentation of data in a digital format. Either the entire value that is read from the ROC can be converted to a digital value, or up to three bits of data can be extracted from the numeric value.
