Configure the PPP Settings
The PPP Settings section is available when the Port Function within a Serial Tab is set to PPP/TCPIP.
DCD Drop Delay
You can define the time that the data carrier detect signal (DCD) needs to be off before the PPP link is disconnected.
This parameter helps to improve PPP connection reliability when best-effort mobile data services, such as GPRS, are used. The default value is 500 milliseconds.
Enter the required interval in the OPC Time Format. You can enter the value directly in the field, or use the Interval window (accessed via the field's browse button) to specify the required value.
