Defining Identification Strings
Use the fields and check box in the Identification Strings section of the Settings tab to specify Identification information about an outstation.
You can specify the following:
Location Name
Enter the name or code of the location where the outstation is installed. You can enter text in any format. Maximum 255 characters including spaces. For example, "1267 Main Street", "Highfield Reservoir" or "SO 12300 45678".
ID Code
Enter the code or number assigned to the device. You can enter text in any format. Maximum 32 characters including spaces. For example, "1234" or "99-ZZ".
Device Name
Enter the name assigned to the device. You can enter text in any format. Maximum 32 characters including spaces. For example, "12345RTU678" or "High Street Sub".
