Specify the Required Line Frequency

A Line Frequency field is displayed on the SCADAPack x70 tab of I/O Modules that support this option.

Use the combo box to specify the required scanning rate for the analog inputs or digital inputs on the I/O Module. The setting applies to all of the analog or digital inputs on the I/O Module. The options are 50 Hz and 60 Hz.

For analog inputs, use the property to improve noise interference.

For digital inputs, use the property to maximize the threshold voltage in AC environments.

If the I/O Module is used in a DC environment, the 60 Hz setting typically yields a slightly faster response time than the 50Hz setting.
