Enable the Scripting Feature on a Mimic

The scripting feature is turned off on Mimics by default. If you want to use the scripting feature, you need to enable the scripting feature for the Mimic on which you are working.

To enable the scripting feature:

  1. In Design mode, double-click on the background of the Mimic to display the Mimic Properties window. Alternatively, you can right-click on the background of the Mimic and select the Properties option from the context sensitive menu.
  2. On the Mimic tab, select the Enabled check box in the Script section. This turns on the scripting feature for the Mimic.

If you want to disable the scripting feature, clear the Enabled check box. This will disable scripting on the Mimic and also delete its scripts (if any are configured).

You can now access the script editor (see Display the Script Editor for a Mimic).
