Start the ClearSCADA Server

When you install ClearSCADA on a server, 'you' need to setup the ClearSCADA server to run as a service. The ClearSCADA server will then run automatically whenever the server PC is turned on.

You may need to stop the ClearSCADA server and restart it to allow certain features to be available.

To setup the ClearSCADA server to run as a service and start the ClearSCADA server:

  1. Select the Start menu, and then the Programs option, and then the Schneider Electric ClearSCADA option, and then the Service Manager option.
    The Service Manager window is displayed.

  2. Select the Start button on the Service Manager window. The ClearSCADA server will run (there may be a short delay—you can see the status of the server in the panel of the Service Manager window).
