Attempt to Resolve Client Load and / or Network Problems

If your client(s) experience slow performance and there does not appear to be a high load on the ClearSCADA server, you should:

  1. Check the amount of memory that is available on the client. There should be enough memory to run ClearSCADA and any other applications that are required.

    The amount of memory that is needed will vary according to the requirements of your system.

    If there appears to be insufficient memory available, you may need to increase the amount of memory available or close other applications—contact Schneider Electric for advice.

    If there appears to be sufficient memory available, proceed to step 2.

  2. Contact your network administrator, as abnormal network conditions are the most likely cause of the slow performance issues. The network administrator needs to check for:
    • Network structure problems
    • Connection problems
    • Excessive network traffic
    • Insufficient bandwidth.
