Once you have installed the ClearSCADA Totalflow Driver, you can import an example Totalflow project that allows you to see how to use the Totalflow driver to interface a Totalflow device with ClearSCADA.
The demonstration file shows how to use the ClearSCADA Totalflow driver to:
- Gather historic data
- Gather current data
- Retrieve events and alarms
- Change the gas composition
- Change the orifice plate diameter
- and so on.
The default location for the TotalflowDemo.sde file is C:\Program Files\Schneider Electric\ClearSCADA, (see Import Database Items).
After you successfully import the TotalflowDemo.sde file, you should see a database tree similar to the one shown below.
The topics in this section demonstrate how to use the Totalflow Driver to interface ClearSCADA to a Totalflow G4 flow computer. The topics provide information about the sde file that contains the example configuration, along with information about the various groups and database objects in that example configuration.
