Configure the Trace's Label
You can specify a label for a trace. The label is a text string that identifies the trace. You specify the label using a field in the Trace Properties window (see Configure a Trace).
- Label: Enter a suitable label for the trace or use the browse button and select a tag from the database (ClearSCADA will use the value of the tag as the label for the axis). If you enter a label directly in the field, remember that the text has to be enclosed within single straight quotation marks ' '. For information on using property tags, see Property Tags in the ClearSCADA Guide to Expressions.
Leave the Label field empty if the trace label is identical to the trace's Source (see Specify the Trace's Source).
Label Font
The font settings associated with a trace's label are common to all trace labels on the X-Y-Z Plot. You specify the settings using the Fonts section of the X-Axis Properties window (see Configure the Fonts used for the Axis and Trace Labels). Set the Fonts option to Trace Labels and then specify the properties of the font that you want to use for the trace labels.
Label Color
The color of the label text is common to all trace labels on the X-Y-Z Plot. You specify the color in the X-Axis Properties window (see Configure the Position of the Axis and the Color of the Axis and Trace Labels).
