What is an easy way to make sure that event and alarm data tables have the correct columns?

The ClearSCADA ROC Plus Driver will create the correct columns for you automatically if you follow the procedure below:

1. Create a new Data Table in the ClearSCADA database.
2. Reference your new Data Table in the Event Data Table or Alarm Data Table field on a ROC Plus Scanner object.
3. Ensure that the Get Events or Get Alarms setting is enabled on the Scanner.
   As the newly created Data Table has no records, the driver will automatically create the correct columns when the scanner configuration is saved.
