Device Configuration Serial Tab

The Serial tab allows you to define the general settings for serial connections. The effects of the settings in this section are dependent on the Port Functions and Port Mode that you configure on the Serial Port tabs.

COMMUNICATION LOSS

Applying invalid communication parameters can lead to loss of communication between ClearSCADA and your SCADAPack x70 device or between devices. A site visit may be required to re-establish communication.

Before changing communication parameters, verify that the new settings are valid for this device and valid in your network.

Failure to follow these instructions could result in death or serious injury.
