Automatically Created User Accounts

ClearSCADA supports the ability to manage user accounts and user groups centrally outside of ClearSCADA, by integrating its user accounts and user groups with corresponding Active Directory (AD) or Lightweight Directory Access Protocol (LDAP) user accounts and groups.

With such a setup, you can configure ClearSCADA to create User accounts automatically, as part of an External Authentication process. For more information, see User Accounts Created from User Patterns, and see Create User Accounts from a User Pattern.
