Export a Password Blacklist

ClearSCADA provides you with the facility to export the password blacklist that is contained within a Password Blacklist item. This allows you to retrieve the list in the event the original source file has not been archived.

To export a password blacklist:

1. Display the Database Bar (see Display an Explorer Bar).
2. In the Database Bar, right-click on the password blacklist item from which you want to export a password blacklist.
   A context-sensitive menu is displayed.

   

3. The Export password blacklist dialog is displayed:

   

   This allows you to enter the location and the filename of the exported password blacklist or you can use the browse button to search for a location to save the file.

4. Select OK to save the file. ClearSCADA creates a Windows based ASCII text file containing the blacklist.
