Connection Problems - System Offline
            If you run ViewX and the system is offline, you should:
- Right-click on the Server icon in the Windows taskbar. If the Start Database option is available, select it. Your database will start and the system should change status to on-line.
 - If the Start Database option is not available, proceed to step 2.
 - Use the ClearSCADAClient application to check that the configuration of your client is correct (see ViewX Client - System Connections). If correcting the client configuration does not resolve the connection issue, proceed to step 3.
 - Check the network connection by 'pinging' the server from the client. To do this, log on to the client PC, access the Command Prompt and enter:

Ping <IP address of server or name of server>
 - Do not enter the angle brackets.
 - If the network connection is working correctly, the server will reply. If there is no reply, there is a fault with your network.
