Use Advanced EWS Time Points to map time values on Advanced EWS servers into Geo SCADA Expert.
Configure the properties of each Time point using the fields on the Advanced EWS Time Point Form.
This section covers configuration of the string-specific properties on the Time Point tab of the Form.
Use the Time Point tab to:
- Configure Common Point Properties

Specify the Format Settings, (see Format Settings in the Geo SCADA Expert Guide to Point Configuration).
- If the point is an output time point (a point that is being used to set time/date values), configure the fields in the Set Value section:
- Select the Enable Set Value check box, (Ensure that the check box is clear if the string is an input point).
- Use the Confirm Set Value combo box to define whether a confirmation dialog box is displayed whenever an operator attempts to send a control (see Requesting Confirmation of Action Requests in the Geo SCADA Expert Guide to Core Configuration).
