Installing Aquis Components on a ViewX Client

You need to install the Aquis Client component on all Geo SCADA ExpertClients that are used to show Aquis displays. Use the Geo SCADA Expert Installation Wizard to specify the component that you want to install, (see Run the Geo SCADA ExpertInstaller in the Geo SCADA ExpertInstallation Guide).

To install the Aquis client components on each client using the Geo SCADA Expert Installation Wizard:

1. Run the Geo SCADA Expert Installation Wizard.
2. Expand the Clients branch of the tree that is displayed in the Setup window.
3. Choose the Aquis client component that you want to install.

5. As with any Geo SCADA Expert component that you want to install, you click on the icon that represents that component, to display a set of options. You then choose to either install just that component, or the entire feature (the component and any ‘child’ components).

7. Any icon that displays a red cross indicates a component that will not be installed.
4. Select Next when you have completed your selections.
5. Select Install in the confirmation pane
6. Restart the server (see Start the Geo SCADA Expert Server in the Geo SCADA Expert Guide to Server Administration).
7. Repeat the above steps on the other clients on your system.
