Add a Method Call

To add a Method Call to the Geo SCADA Expertdatabase:

1. Display the Database Bar (see Display an Explorer Bar).
2. In the Database Bar, right-click on the System or Group for which you want to add a Method Call.
   A context sensitive menu is displayed.
3. Select the Create New option.
   A further menu is displayed.
4. Select the Other option.
   A further menu is displayed.
5. Select the Method Call option.
   A Method Call is added to the root of the System or to the selected Group (depending on your selection in step 2). It is selected automatically, ready for you to enter its name.
6. Enter a suitable name for the item (taking into account the Geo SCADA Expert Naming Restrictions).
7. Press the Enter key or select another part of the ViewX interface to confirm the entry.

When you have added a Method Call to the system, you can then Configure the Method Call’s Properties.
