Edit a Value Map

To edit a Value Map or Filtered Value Map, so that you can alter its configuration, and add or delete points and variables, either:

1. Display the Database Bar (see Display an Explorer Bar).
2. Double-click on the Value Map or Filtered Value Map in the Database Bar (if you are logged on as a user that has the Double Click Edits Documents feature enabled).
   The map is displayed in Design mode.

or:

1. Display the Database Bar (see Display an Explorer Bar).
2. Right-click on the Value Map or Filtered Value Map in the Database Bar.
   A context sensitive menu is displayed.
3. Select the Edit <Value Map Type> Value Map option.
   The map is displayed in Design mode.

   

With the Value Map displayed in Design mode, you can then edit the Value Map as required. For more information, see the topics that are listed in the gray footer section at the bottom of this topic. Select the relevant entry to display the topic that you require.
