Remove Multiple Elements from an Array Field

If you need to remove several elements, you can either remove them all individually (see Remove a Single Element from an Array Field), or you can remove several simultaneously. Obviously, removing multiple elements at the same time is much quicker than removing them individually.

To remove multiple elements simultaneously:

1. Press and hold a Ctrl key or Shift key, and then select the elements you want to remove (Ctrl allows you to select individual elements, whereas with the Shift key, you select a range of sequential elements).
2. When you have selected all of the elements you want to remove, either:
   • Press the Delete key

   Or:

   • Select the Remove button

   Or:

   • Right-click (or press the Application key) and then select Remove from the context-sensitive menu.
