Create a DNP3 SCADAPack Analog Input Point
When you create the analog input point, most of the configuration fields can be left at their default values.
On the Analog Point tab, the only fields you need to change for this tutorial are:
- In Service—Ensure that the check box is selected so that it displays a check mark.
- Outstation—Specify the DNP3 SCADAPack E Direct Outstation created above.
- Point Number—Set to 12.
- Point Data Class—Set to Class 1 Event.
- DNP Object Type—Set to Short Float Analog Input (g30v5).
- Historic Data Filter—(This field is within the Logged Data section, toward the bottom of the Analog Point tab.) Set to Static and Event Data.
On the Historic tab you will need to set:
- Enabled—Ensure that the check box is selected so that it displays a check mark.
