Manually Edit the Vectors on a DNP3 SCADAPack Profile

To manually specify the time and vector values on a DNP3 SCADAPack Profile:

  1. Overtype the Time with the required value.

The format in which you can enter time values depends on the Locale and Date Format assigned to your User Account.

Should an invalid value be entered in a Time cell, that value will automatically be highlighted in red. Invalid values are not saved to the database.

  2. With each of the remaining column(s), enter the vector value that applies at the specified Time.

Ensure that you specify values that are appropriate to the type of DNP3 SCADAPack Profile (see Limitations and Restrictions).

Should an invalid value be specified, that value will automatically be highlighted in red. Invalid values are not saved to the database.

Remember that if a Profile is to control the limit(s) of a DNP3 SCADAPack Analog point that has a ‘Physical Input’ Point Type, the Profile’s Current value column has to be disabled (see Disable or Enable the Profile for a Particular Limit or Current Value).

    Example:

This DNP3 SCADAPack Binary Profile has two invalid values, both of which were highlighted in red as soon as another part of the screen was selected.
