The figure below shows the configuration log file (config.log) for a successful configuration download where the configuration file included entries that the SCADAPack E outstation could not interpret. The configuration log file indicates the line number (110 in this example) in which the unknown entry occurs.
Unknown entries are typically introduced when you add extra configuration file(s) to the beginning and/or end of the automatically generated configuration (see Add a File to a SCADAPack E Outstation’s Configuration). If the error is introduced due to an added configuration file, check the additional file for errors (see the SCADAPack E Configuration File Format User and Reference Manual).
If you have not included any additional configuration files, or the detected error occurs in the configuration generated by Geo SCADA Expert, check that the firmware of the SCADAPack E outstation is the latest available version.
