This attribute displays the name and location of an item’s data source in the Geo SCADA Expert database. The Source Name comprises the given name of the data source, plus the full path to that item in the database. Dot separators separate the various elements of the path (the hierarchy of groups within which the data source resides).
Example:
Eastern Region.Area 1.Scanner 33
(Indicating that the data source is a scanner named ‘Scanner 33’. The scanner is within the ‘Area 1’ group, which itself is located within the ‘Eastern Region’ group.)
