This guide explains how to use QueryPad, an SQL diagnostics tool that is supplied with your Geo SCADA Expert software solution to test your SQL queries and improve their efficiency.
QueryPad is an application that runs independently of ViewX and it provides diagnostic information about your SQL query. By examining the diagnostics information, you can see how the Query Processor (used to process SQL queries in Geo SCADA Expert) handles your query, and use that information to determine whether your query could be changed to work more efficiently.
In the QueryPad Guide, we describe how to run, connect, and use the diagnostic features of the QueryPad application. We also provide information about the various phases of the Query Processor’s processing, as to make effective use of the QueryPad diagnostics, you will need to understand how the Query Processor processes queries.
