Configure the SCADAPack Controls
The Settings tab on the Forms of SCADAPack x70 Device Configuration items includes a SCADAPack Controls section. Use the section to configure device controls settings.
Selecting this option allows you to Indicate when the overrange limit value and the underrange limit value are considered to be transgressed.
When you select this option:
- The current value needs to exceed the overrange limit value to be considered overrange.
- The current value needs to be below the underrange limit value to be considered underrange.
When you leave this option clear:
- The current value needs to be equal to, or more than, the overrange limit to be considered overrange.
- The current value needs to be equal to, or below, the underrange limit value to be considered underrange.
Use the Low Voltage Alarm Level field to specify the DC supply voltage below which the SCADAPack x70 device will set the ‘Local Input Power Supply Low’ system point. The default is 11.5 Vdc.
To generate an alarm in Geo SCADA Expert when the SCADAPack x70 device detects a low input voltage, create a Digital input point in the Geo SCADA Expert database for the ‘Local Input Power Supply Low’ system point.
