You can add extra 'link' fields to the items in the database. Each link field has a browse button that you can use to associate an item with another item of a specific type, for example, an outstation.
A common use for link fields is to allow an internal point to be associated with an outstation. This allows other displays, such as Mimics and Lists, to show the different types of points that are associated with an outstation, not just the physical points (analog, digital and so on).
