You can use the Descriptions section of the Geo SCADA Expert Server Configuration Tool to define standard descriptions for point units, states, and control actions. The descriptions are made available for selection when configuring a point (dependent on point type etc.) and are designed to help keep point descriptions consistent on your system.

The standard point description settings are optional settings. You should only alter the default settings if you specifically need to setup different descriptions for your point units, states, and control actions.
