The Id status attribute is only displayed if the user account with which you are logged on to Geo SCADA Expert is allocated the Configure permission for the selected item (the item for which you are viewing status information).
The Id attribute displays an item’s unique identifier.
Every driver item is assigned a unique Id number—Geo SCADA Expert assigns the number automatically when that item is added to the database.
Id numbers enable SQL to retrieve ‘dynasets’ of data, so minimizing the loading on both the server and client, particularly when requesting large quantities of data. Id numbers can also be used with the Automation Interface, see Server Automation.
