Geo SCADA Expert can allow a Generic Modbus Outstation to interpret registers that are 32 bits wide.
The Modbus protocol specifies that the defined width for registers is 16 bits. However, some devices support registers with a 32 bit width. Use the 32 Bit Register Compatibility check box to enable compatibility with these devices.
Select the check box if you can confirm that the associated controller uses 32 bit registers.
Clear the check box if the controller uses 16 bit registers.
