Security permission required to access this pick action: Disable Points
Use this pick action to place a scanner or Slave source In Service. Triggering the action changes the scanner or source's configuration so that its In Service property is enabled. Providing that any items on which the scanner or Slave source is dependant are also In Service and have valid configuration, the scanner or Slave source will become active. (Dependants include the channel or server with which the scanner or Slave source is associated.)
The Enable Scanner pick action is only available for a scanner or Slave source:
- That is not In Service
- For which your User Account is allocated the Disable Points security permission.
