This status attribute is an accumulated count of the number of SMS messages received by the device since the device was first activated. The count includes unsolicited messages, messages the device could not decipher and configuration change messages sent with an incorrect password. The device increments this count when it receives a message, however this does not necessarily mean that the device has processed the message.
NOTE: This attribute indicates the latest value that the device has sent to Geo SCADA Expert. The device transmits the data to Geo SCADA Expert in diagnostic SMS messages.
