Disabling the Exclusive Control Feature

If you do not want the Exclusive Control feature to be available on your system, disable it by completing the steps in this procedure:

1. Display the Server Configuration Tool and log on if required.
2. Expand the required system and node.
3. Expand the System Configuration branch.
4. Select Exclusive Control.
   The Exclusive Control section is displayed
5. Clear the Enabled check box to deactivate the exclusive control feature.
6. Repeat steps 3 to 6 inclusive for each node in the system.
7. When you have made the changes to the server configuration, close the Server Configuration Tool and select the Yes button at the save changes prompt.
