The security of Geo SCADA Expert is also dependent on the operating system as well as the hardware platform on which it is installed. The following sections are aimed at System Administrators who are setting up and configuring the systems prior to the installation of Geo SCADA Expert and are recommendations that should be considered to improve the general security. These aspects of the document are suggestions of good practice, but are not comprehensive, and need to be allied with recommendations for server and client configuration from the operating system software vendor, hardware vendor and security experts.
