The Override action sets a point to have a specific value. The value remains in place until the Release Override action is used.
The Override/Release permission defines whether the user account or User Group has access to the Override and Release Override actions for a point (except in BMS, where the Override and Release Override actions apply to different type of database item).
Although this permission is available for every database item, it is only relevant to database points as they are the only items that can have their values overridden.
Availability: Can be restricted via the Permission Restrictions settings
