The Switch Line permission defines whether the user or User Group can instruct an outstation or PLC to switch communications to an alternate channel. Communication channels are switched via the Switch Line action.
This permission is available for every database item but is only relevant to shared outstations, shared outstation sets, switched outstation sets, and some simple channels (for example, Modbus).
